Those who wait by Juggi Bhasin (Book Review by Mohit)
📍 This book is a mix of political - action adventure. The story starts with a change coming in the Bharatiya politics. Soon, there is going to be election. Kanwar Pratap Singh has come out as a strong face for the position of Prime Minister.
📍 In the past when Kanwar Pratap Singh was nothing, he loved a girl. One day she told him that there is an opportunity coming, he should come to the place as told by her, and his life will change. But when he reached the place, he finds out that she was there with someone, she asked him to convert to Christianity. She told him to change his way of life and accept this new faith. He realised what was happening, and told her that he wouldn't convert. He asked her to leave the place and never to come back.
📍 He realized this was happening in many parts of the nation. He took it to himself to stop these kind of things from happening.
📍 Then comes the Tripathi family in the scene. There are three people in the family- father, daughter, and son. Somehow, this family finds itself on opposite sides of its own nation. What could have lead the family to this?
📍 There are many people, who are standing against the new government- Maoists, China, and some Bharatiya citizens.
📍 The story keeps you hooked to the book. The short chapters are always better for readers, it was a plus point. If you find yourself talking about politics, or even interested in a politics read. This is an engaging fictional political read. It contains around 460 pages. I hope you have a great week with a good load of reading.
