The Legend of Bahirji-Naik: Siege of Panhala Book 2

My Review : 

📍 The characters that stands out in this book are : Shashidhwaj, Bahirji-Naik duo, Manucci, Mirza Raje Jaisingh, Shivaji Raje, Netoji, Toofankhan and Dilerkhan.


📍 As both armies' leaders want to know the situations inside each other's camps, they require to send their spy in the enemy camp. Both armies know the benefits of having their own man in the enemy land. 


📍 Netoji chooses Shashidhwaj to go on this new journey. Shashidhwaj is trained by Netoji himself. And Dilerkhan chooses his own son Toofankhan to go into the enemy camp. Toofankhan has been away from his father as he wasn't good to him since his childhood. But this time he promises to gift him Azamgarh, if he succeeded in this new mission.


📍 Both the guptachars are in the enemy lands. Who would be able to send news faster? Who would be able to come out safely from the enemy land?


📍 While Bahirji-Naik duo keep doing their intelligence work in some other places of enemies, and keeps communicating with Shivaji Raje continuously. They have grown, doing their best in everything. 


📍 The role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is shown quite well. He has his own intelligence, then he has brilliant people beside him providing their advices. The aura he has around himself, even when he is in the enemy land or in front of the enemy was quite good to read. He even surrenders himself with some of his forts.


📍 What will he do then? He has surrendered in front of the enemy as his people were dying in the war. Who will save him now? Will these few guptachars be able to save him from the hands of enemy? What kind of strategies will he use there? Will he present himself with any condition in front of the enemy to save himself? How will he outsmart them?


📍 This book is a fast pace read. I finished it in two days. It has around 300 pages. The story is quite interesting which will bind you to the pages of the book. The language used is easy. There are some words used in Hindi language in between, the author has referenced the meanings of those as well if you won't be able to understand them. There were some grammatical mistakes which should have been edited. I loved the book cover as well. The author used Afghan language, when the Pashtuns were talking or if it was their pov (such as huzoor) but when the Marathas were talking, he should have used their language words which I missed in between the conversations. And the story was from 1665, the author should have used Bharat instead of India. It would have been much better.

 📍 This is a story of a little girl of high school - Zoe. 📍 She has started seeing things, dreams- weird dreams. She has started making a world in her head.  📍 She has started realizing that she is not in a good condition. Still she wants to be in this new world. She sees characters she reads about, watches in movies.  📍 She has got one friend Meg, who tries to help her in getting out of this situation.  📍 The thoughts shared in the book are so good. The writer has done quite a good work writing this short book. While being so young the author has written a very beautiful book.  📍 The language of the book is easily understandable. The narration of the story has been done very well. Read the book to know what happens in the book.

 📍  This book is about two Mexican-American teens trying to find their way in the world, but before they do that, they find each other.  📍 These two teens are Aristotle and Dante, the former guy Ari is a self-doubting silent guy, and Dante is an expressive guy who loves poetry as well.  📍 We experience the story from Ari’s perspective. Ari is not a case of being a bookish, indoor kid who doesn't relate to the rough and tumble world of "normal" boys, actually he likes to fight and drink and he wants a truck and a dog - he just never felt comfortable in the company of boys until he met Dante. 📍 Dante is definitely one of the indoor boys.
