Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr (Book Review by Mohit)
📍 Cloud Cuckoo Land shifts between Five characters—Konstance, Zeno, Seymour, Anna, and Omeir. 📍 Konstance, who has spent her entire life on a spaceship named The Argos, encounters some difficulties many years in the future. 📍 Zeno and Seymour, who are from Idaho, are struggling with life's losses in the present. 📍 In the year 1400, Anna and Omeir are engaged in combat in Constantinople. 📍 This book is undoubtedly fascinating. This book is a jumbled mess throughout, especially at first. Non-linear timeframes and five different individuals are alternated in Cloud Cuckoo Land. 📍 After reading about a character's life up to that point, the story may then transfer to another character's life at the beginning of a new era. I'm not unfamiliar with multiple points of view, but usually there are no more than three. There are 5 different people in this book. And then add fluctuating timelines on top of that. If I had been the editor, I would have organised the book ...
