Destined to die by Varun Mathpal (Book Review)

📍 This story starts with a scene at a police station. There is this person who is drenched with blood, telling his side of story to detective Katelyn.  📍 What he told at the police station was hard to believe but somehow Katelyn did believe his emotions, she was good at reading people so she could tell that he wasn't telling a lie. But how was this possible, what this man was telling her.  📍 He told her that he heard someone screaming, it was a girl's voice, he ran after the voice as hard as he could, but nothing could be seen, he told himself that he was imagining things as he was drunk. But as soon as he turned around, the mist was gone and everything was visible. He couldn't believe what he saw next. He saw 17 graves there, they were nameless. He couldn't feel anything good around himself. It felt like there was something evil.  📍 Then comes a new character in the story - Warren Parish. Warren and Katelyn had some history. They were kind of in love with each ...

The Wise Man Said (Book Review)

📍 The story starts with an author remembering her editor's words to submit the next story soon.  📍 It has been six months and the author is still debating the submission of her manuscript as she hasn't written a single word.  📍 She has written three books already, which are inspiring for everyone, so that anyone who reads them can learn how to live happily. Yet she is not happy in her life. She has had success she needed years ago, she has fame, but still her story has not got the closure she needs. She is not happy in her life.  📍 Then she meets an old frail man with silver hair and long silver beard (seemed like Dumbledore from Harry Potter). The conversation between the author and this old man was very interesting to read. How he taught her few things without even doing anything.  📍 Before leaving the old man leaves a book for the author, titled as Wanderer.  📍 What's in this book the old man has left behind? Who was this old man? What did she lea...

Unhooked And Unbooked (Book Review)

📍 This story is not about a single character, it contains different characters having different stories meeting at a point in between. 📍 KD is a very popular singer. He is kind of egoistic, a druggie and sex starves person. 📍 Then there is this girl Tia. She is a struggling model. When KD and Tia met they kinda fell in love with each other. KD helped her in her career. She got fame because of being with KD. 📍 Then there are two more people in the story, Sameer and Isha. Sameer believes in true love. Isha has shut doors for love, but Sameer still has feelings for her. 📍 The story of Sameer is inspired from real incidents, while KD's story is fictional. 📍 How are these four characters related in the story? Is there a connection? Will they find love in each other or will they fall apart? 📍 To know the answers to such questions, you need to read the book. 📍 The cover of this book is so beautiful, I just love it. The writing style of the author is quite good. He has narrated the...
