Blood & Brown Sugar (Book Review)

 📍 The protagonist of this story is Alex. He is a simple young man, living a peaceful life. But when the time is not with you, what can you do about it.  📍 He accidentally injures a member of Montreal’s most nefarious motorcycle club and that's when his life changes.  📍 As recompense for his mistake, Alex is forced to travel to India and escort the Club’s latest drug shipment home.  📍 While under the watchful eye of the Club’s Indian contingent and president’s mistress, Ipsita Chaudhary, Alex begins his new life from a law-abiding citizen to outlaw biker.  📍 He doesn't know anything about this field, he was living a normal life till now, how will he react to this situation and how his life will change because of this? 📍 The language of the book is simple. Bullets Over Bombay

 📍 This book is about a movie which released in 1988. This movie was the first one to be on a Mumbai gangster, showing gritty side of Mumbai.  📍 At a time when Bollywood was still rediscovering romance, Ram Gopal Varma's film dared to imagine the ordinary life of a Mumbai gangster. It kicked off a new wave of Hindi gangster films that depicted a vital side of Mumbai, which was rarely shown in mainstream cinema until then.  📍 Now, it has become an iconic film. When it was released, the regular moviegoer would have been hard to recognise more than a couple of names in the film's credits.  📍 This is a mystery novel. It begins with a small mystery, when a van goes missing.  📍 This is Violet William's van. Her granddaughter Pia forgets to lock the door of the van or something seems like it and it goes missing.  📍 This all is happening in Ramsar. So nothing is so simple as it seemed. It turned bad when ASP Thapa finds out the missing van and finds a dead body inside it.  📍 Now, who is this dead person? What's the connection between Pia and dead person?
